Explaining changes in the NHS

Because we’ve worked with more than 150 NHS teams on powerful public health campaigns over the past ten years, we’ve got to know the health service inside out. So when the NHS went through big changes in 2013, our expertise was in demand.

As well as developing brand identities for a number of the new clinical commissioning groups (CCGs), we were asked by Leeds South and East CCG to explain to a confused public just what the NHS changes would mean for them.

We drew inspiration from a classic information film from the birth of the NHS, using a friendly one-to-one style to explain the changes in simple language. Our animated video, Eh Up, Doc, set the tone for CCG communications and we’ve since produced tailored versions for areas right across England in eight languages, including British Sign Language.
